Review : HSDPA speed test on T-Mobile UK cellular network with T-Mobile MDA Vario II Pocket PC phone

this is a good read for those on t-mobile (like me now!)

I did call t-mobile, as suggested, to activate it but I got put through to a techo who said all web'n'walk account had HSDPA activated automatically during August but it won't be fully up to speed until early next week

it also introduces a free utility that I have been using for a little while called Hermes Tweaker which allows you to tweak various registry settings, including turning HSDPA on

ok I'm doing my own little test using http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest

today I got a rsult of 497.8kbps, which is not bad, but not up to HSDPA speeds yet so I'll give it another go on Monday and Tuesday when t-mobile say it should be up to full speed
