Ok i used to be on esato regularaly about 10 months ago untill for some reason i could not aceess esato on my home PC.
It would not let me on to the site just come up with one of those pages where it says u should try to refresh.
I didnt do nothing to my PC just one day it wouldnt let me on this site, it was as if it was non excistent to my PC , every other site worked except this one, this happened for at least 10 months until today.
just thought id check again (checked 2 days ago and nothing) and kaboom! im once again able to be on this brilliant site again.
What was it? was i banned mistakenly or something?
Has this happened to anyone else?

At least im back for now but im still a bit worried that tommorow it may happen again.

Could've been a cookie problem? cookie got cleared in the meantime so you can now get back in here again?

Nothing to do with cookies I'm afraid. There's quite a lot of members experiencing exactly the same problem at the moment and as yet there's no solution. It is looking like the problem is nothing to do with people's computers though.

Same happened to me for about a week. it had nothing to do with cookies or my ISP since I also tried it in another PC and my phone. it said I was banned. then, with no notice at all, I was allowed back in. I think that maybe the forum engine should have a little upgrade, perhaps the forum has grown far bigger than it can handle, but I don't know nothing about forums and servers.

Sometimes web sites mess up a bit when they are being changed/edited/updated etc and when that happens they definately slow down for some reason. But although I haven't been onto Esato as much as I used to, I haven't noticed any major changes etc. So...

An IP ban has unwanted side effects some times. That might the reason.
