I'm getting a BT headset for my P990i
I'm currently looking at HBH-608, HBH-610 or HBH-662.
Has anyone experiance of the above headsets? And what are they?
Or has anyone other suggestions of headset? | |

Well i havent used any of those but the one i am is the hbh ds970...probably the best bt headset ive ever had the pleasure of using. It looks great and u dont look like a moron with an earpiece hanging off your ear.
Its a necklace style of headset with earphones for both left and right ear and now only that it supports audio streaming over bt so you can listen to your mp3s if you wish. Plus as i said you dont look silly wearing it as people will think its a mp3 player that you have around your neck. |

get the hbh-662 (if you can find it) they are discontinued, but you should be able to find a few on ebay or on an online shop. battery life is about 5 days. and id caller function is great too. i am currently using mine with my m600 and it works great.

I , on the other hand, have used hbh 600 for a year and all i can say it's a very good headset, loud and clear but the battery lasts only an hour of talking, while near the end it switches off after 15 minutes. I have to say I talk at least 2 hours a day on the phone and I had to charge it even trice a day. Not a good deal. And on top of that, my new M600i can't find it , not this one, not a Motorola H 805 or a Nokia BS 36 (or smtng like this). don't buy it unless u've tried it with ur phone and pairs ok. Just my 2 c.

i have 7 headsets, hbh-660, 662, 200, 610, 30, 35, 602, all work well with the m600i exept that the hbh-30 does not stay connected it disconnects after a call and re connects after an incoming call but works very well. even the hbh-200 can connect to show the last 10 incoming and ougoing calls. (in all the p-series that was not possible) i don't understand why your phone can't find the hbh-600?

I don't know, I've tried it 10 times. It can't see it and that's that. Just bought a Jabra, nice headset, loud, great battery ( 3 days while talking a lot) BUT picks up a lot of noise from ambient, so I'll change it when I find a SE headset...very hard to come by over here....
Anyway, I've came to the conclusion now that the best headsets are Sony Erisson trying more BT headseats than 1. Tried a Nokia too very nice and all but the price of 140 EUR put me down.

i'd suggest the hbh-662. i found one on ebay not too long ago and it works perfectly with my p990i. it's particularly useful for me since i tend to keep my p990 in my purse, and the headset in a pocket or on the neck strap, and i can easily see who's calling without digging my phone out. battery life is decent, and the battery meter on the display is fabulous. i had a motorola hs 810 before this, and it was always a guessing game about how much of a charge it had, but it did have great battery life regardless.
if you shop for one, know that the hbh-660 is bluetooth 1.0 and it will NOT display the name of the caller (if the caller is in your phone book, that is), only the caller's number. the hbh-662 is bluetooth 1.2, and pulls the caller's name from your phonebook... |

I do not have a P990 but I use a HBH-300 with my K800i and have to say it has to be the best headset I have ever used. Battery life is out of this world, and sound quality is second to none. Also have a HBH-PV700 but that is knowhere near as good as the HBH-300.

| you are wrong about the hbh-660 it displays the callers name as long as it is in the phonebook, l have them both and they work perfectly.

I guess u r both right, as I've heard a lot of stories before about showing or not showing the number. I guess it depends on sw version and others...
