HI, I have purchased a t68i some months ago. The charging process has acted strange and I just want a confirmation if this is normal:

When phone is on:

- Charger is plugged in and message on screen "optimized charging"
- then it stops charging and sometimes starts again.

When phone is switched off:

- Charger is plugged in a message "charging only" appears.
- The screen keeps lighting up, lighting down and the same message appears all the time

Now I have changed my phone and it is the same thing with the new one. I have also tried with a charger from one of my friends and it did not get better.

IS THIS NORMAL?

Thanks for a reply

Well now I see that my battery cannot charge at all. This is the second time I will get my phone exchanged.

Can someone tell me how the phone should react when turned on and switched off and if I can charge it before it has been decharged?

Thx

mine (i assume it is fine) does this, when i plug the charger:
if the phone is on:
says optimized charging... then the screen dims and thats it, you can see the battery indicator moving around....
if it is off:
says charging only... and than it dimms and the battery indicator moves... tthats all mine does... so when the battery is done charging it stops moving and that way i know it is done... and the optimized charging window comes off by the way after 30 seconds or so..

yea the charging only also goes after 30 secs

also.....
wen ur chargin wen the fone is on the service light is a constant green (whilst charging and afta)

wen ur chargin wen the fone is off the service light is a constant red whilst its charging and when its finished chargin, it turns to a constant green so that also anotha way of knowing its finished

Mine does exactly what [MDS] described. Also, when I start charging the phone with it off, once it's finished charging the phone will also power off.

well, it does not exactly powers off, since it is off in the first place, but the screen shutts down and the led goes off, so i guess you could say it shutts off...
