Does anyone have a pic that shows the cord length of the Sony Fontopia Earbuds MDR-EX71SLB.
I'm curious if it is a short wire that can be connected to the Fastport/mic attacment included with the W810 and also if the cord connects down the center as I absolutely cannot function with earbuds that hang heavy on one ear and then wrap around.

So far it seems no matter where I look there is only one stock picture for these things and unfortunately it cuts the cord out of the frams and so I can't actually get any idea. |

Here you are Spindizzy. The primary cord is about 45 cm or 18 inch long. As you can see, the cord doesn't connect in the center.
Mine broke just 2 days ago after only 8 months of carefull use. Cables are (too) thin and one of them broke internally. Up to now I liked the set but there is maybe a bit too much emphasis on the basses.

Indeed everyone here is a huge help.
I can see these are also of the asymmetrical variety that I find just so clumsy to wear.
And also to note, some further reading of user reviews on a different site all claimed an alarming fault in the build quality these things. Turns out the cord
disintegrates exposing the copper wiring. 9 of the 10 reviews I read mentioned this. Yiiikes!
So I guess the question now is if there is an alternative set with a short neck only cord with the plug centered? |
