Hope this isnt one of those threads that bother u.

Well, i had a W800i for a year and then suddelnly just got the K800i, hadnt planned it it just one day came to me. at first i was sceptic to a new fone but then i realy liked it its all the w80i has plus all the 3g goodness nicer screen and all the rest. the camera was a nice uppgrade as i like taking pictures, now that ive used it for a lil while i have noticed some things....

For all u camera enthusiasts familiar with the tecnical stuff i find that using the right settings and getting a low iso setting produces very nice pictures, alot of settings can be altered (for a fone) and ofcource i do not demand any type of manual mode however id just like to controll the iso setting as i kinda want all my pics to be well under iso 400 as iso 80 provides less noice and sharper detail. Ive seen that smtimes the fone selects a very strange iso level, it happened once that it took iso 500 inside in dayligt... And Twilight landscape is fixed on iso 125 which is decent but no focus there... is there any way to do that??? i mean a light firmware hack or smthing? as ive seen someone made some kind of camera firmware for the w800i....

Just got mine from eBay (someone's unwanted upgrade), the only thing that truly disappoints me, is that the K800i makes use of the Micro M2 memory card which currently is at 1gig maximum. However the likes of Nokia, Samsung and many others who are making use of 3rd party technology MiniSD, which are currently selling in 2gig capacity with 4gig due to be released any day (so I read on another forum). I think Sony-Ericsson have been court napping here, is handset miniaturisation by lets face is mere mm’s really worth the loss of 3 gig’s of storage space?

Lets face it this phone, K800i is a real multimedia phone, but couple the limited card size with all of the multimedia functionality (great camera, mp3 player, video player, Video recording) lets face it all memory hungry applications and I think either Sony Ericsson have missed a trick here, why not stay with the Memory Stick Duo Pro like in the W810i?

ahhh whatever complaints ppl have with the K800i i just love this fone, works like a charm and i havent experienced any bugs or faults that ppl have mentioned here.. works 100% only con is the internet button is very easily accesed forgot keylock and it kinda went oin the inet in my pocket... But thats my human error, not the fones... Cheers and i hope its cracked or maybe my not even problem might be fixed in a future firmware update...
