send it back to o2, got it on upgrade for £55, didnt think it was worth the money, alot of the features are same as the w800i which i had before. DOnt get me wrong the camera was great, but the weight was a major issue. Too TOoo heavy.
Now gonna try and get the d900 off o2 for free. As i want a thin phone, not too interested in walkman feature as have a 60gb ipod. |

@ash123
Too heavy? It's a wee bit heavier than a K750 say, but I don't think the wieght is really a major issue is it? I certainly wouldn't return mine based on its wieght.

Heavy?! o_O
Bought it based on looks?! I mean looks are great, but once looking carefully at its spec sheets, it easily overturns the other (non-smartphone) SE phones...

It's 16 grams heavier then the K750I, not heavy at all.
The D900 is 22 grams lighter then the K800I but nearly a centimeter thinner!!!!! The D900 doesn't have 3G though. |

Indeed, next to the cam k8 has nothing special to offer, i kept rather k610 and have the same features for the half price of a k8

as is often the case bobafett you over simplify the comparison.
The K610 does not have radio, camera flash, it has smaller screen resolution, less memory and various other differences that together make up the difference in price between K800 and K610

Contact, messaging, browser features and batt performance are the important points for me, so your list and mine one reflect the individual taste and usage and needs in a fone. Have to

yeah, well, of course if you limit yourself to basic functionality then a K700 for much less again would also satisify your needs
interesting though that the original poster doesn't think £55 is worth paying for a K800 but I guess competition out there is very strong these days, I too am tempted by one or two of the new thin samsungs

@masseur i ment those are for me more important then the cam and high res screen for example. I focus on those since years, cos what i buy it as a fone to use, the list u wrote are the facts where mobile technology turned to in now a days.

and I disagree as, at the very least, K800 screen resolution makes a BIG difference over the K610 even for the basic functionality you describe that almost every current phone offers. Indeed the screen res of the K800 sets it apart from many of todays similar style phones and I don't think the K800 can be dismissed so easily
while the slim phones that the original poster is now after look good, I really wonder if he will be satisfied once he has those and I look forward to further feedback on this topic
