What if you use the £170 and then they decide to charge you?

They can give you a credit if you choose to not have a new handset at upgrade time. My K800 was too expensive as an upgrade so I just took a new contract instead.

When I phoned to cancel the existing contract they took £10 off the monthly charge making it £9pm and also gave me £100 credit on my bill.

Assuming I don't go over my allowance, which I won't I use the T-Mob flext for daily use, that means I only have to pay £8 to O2 in month 12 for 50 mins and 200 texts per month!!
