Bluetooth - unable to connect Z550i to my laptop |

I downloaded the PC_Suite_1.20.237.exe from the Sony Ericsson site and installed the same without any problem on my laptop running Windows 2000 SP4. I have a bluetooth dongle from Matrixx and the drivers for the same (Widcomm driver version 1.4.3.4) have been installed without any issues either.
However, when I try to connect to the phone using the PC Suite it is unable to find any connected devices ie. my phone, which has been paired with the laptop successfully using a passkey. Whenever I try to use any service in the bluetooth environment, such as file transfer etc. I get the error msg "Error establishing connection".
Hoping that somebody can help me out with this. |

Have you selected the correct COM Port in PC Suite settings?

Yes, the com port selection is fine. The com port is selected in the Phone Monitor options and this has been enabled.
Also, the bluetooth on my laptop identifies the phone and successfully pairs with the phone but the bluetooth environment services fail due to not being able to connect. |
