Do I have BAD LUCK? |

I've been around cellphones for about 5 years now, working as a sales representative at a FIDO cell phone store.
I've gotten to try out a lot of cellphones but not that many bluetooth headsets. I finally decided to get the IV835 and it was very stylish but I felt it didn't fit in my ear very nicely, but nonetheless it was EXTRA COOL so I decided to keep it. For some reason people keep telling me that they had a hard time hearing what I was saying while I had the headset on. I would always end up having to repeat myself. It got so bad that they couldn't even hear me when I was driving the the car with all the windows closed and the radio off. So I thought it was a defective product since it is supposed to have DSP and this and that...
I got another bluetooth headset this time, the GV-435. Thinking it would work like a charm but instead I'm getting the same problem. I read all the reviews and people were like "yeah everyone hears me no problem. I heard them even better" blah blah blah..
I have no problem hearing the caller, its very loud, but why do they have problems hearing me??
They say they can hear all the background noise and its drowning out my voice.
Whats my problem??? is it just bad luck??

the best bluetooth headset from se is the hbh-660, hbh-662 so far i have had no complaints from anyone had my hbh-660 for 2 years now and it's still my favorite although the battery is slowly giving up. my opinion is to try to find one because sonyericcson has discontinued them do a search on ebay or on google some shops still have some in stock you won't regret it! i recantly bought 3 more off e-bay to keep them in hand because they won't be around for long...

Yeah, I've used the HBH-660 before, but didn't own it..
Had it around for about a week, the main reason I gave it up was because of the size and the feeling that it would fall off my ear. It wasn't a secure fit...
I wanted something either small or hidden...
So the conclusion of the ESATO forum is that its bad luck??
Maybe my expectation for a bluetooth headset is too high???

i beleive it's BEGINNERS bad luck, but anyway if you ask half of the posters here on esato you will see that the new se headsets are not as good as se promised. the older ones of the ''akono'' range beat by far the new ones.

Best BT headset ive used is the hbh ds970, very comfy and excellent sound quality. If you can find a pair of them in Toronto then id suggest getting a pair as they are very very good headsets. Been using mine for past 2 months without any problems. |

Damn it...
Its just wierd, I was driving local streets in my car with the windows down and my friend on the other end told me that he couldn't even tell that I was using a BT headset. But around 9 pm at night I was at a PIZZA PIZZA and my other friend told me that he heard everything in the restaurant and that it was a POS. LOL...
am I better off with an older headset?
