Ricoh announced a new camera today that supports both and Wi-fi,called the 500SE, the 8.13-megapixel digital camera connects to your nearby laptop using Bluetooth 2.0 or to any available Wi-Fi network using 802.11b/g. It's even ruggedized and waterproof!

you can also use the wifi asimply to copy pics to your computer wirelessly (not everyone has bluetooth - more peeps have wifi at home than have bluetooth adapters.)...

Interesting article about Do we need WiFi on cameras?

No, and here is why

Networking always has hidden gotchas. You might want to network your camera to your laptop, but why bother? Simply popping out the SD card and dropping it into your laptop will transfer your data as quickly, and you won't have any network interconnect issues.

WiFi sucks batteries like nobody's business. If you could shoot 100 pictures on a battery charge, expect to shoot and transfer only 25 with WiFi enabled.

Don't expect to transfer your pictures home through WiFi hotspots. Since these cameras don't have browsers, there's no way to sign into public hotspots and do your business. Sure, you could WiFi your pictures to your laptop and then use your laptop to connect to the hotspot, but if you're doing that, just drop the card into the laptop. It's faster anyway.

WiFi also adds a considerable amount to your cost. For example, the best price we found on Froogle for the SD430 was $449. By contrast, the SD450, which is basically the same camera without the WiFi, priced in at just about $200.

dude, the bluetooth sucks juice too!! both wifi and bluetooth will suck batt. Even cable transfers will suck batt, unless the camera has charge by cable ability (few do, unlike phones).

Swapping out a memory card sucks Zero juice

I think the best way is the "old" way to save the pictures on the memory card. I think its better to buy bigger memory card (there are cards with extreme capacity that can save hundreds of pics), than draining the batteries. The bluetooth or wifi picture sending ways are good if you do not plan to take a lot of pictures.
