Recently i noticed something in Windows Media Player 11 Beta:
When you connect K750i or any other MEM Stick phone WMP11 allows you to sync music woth your meme stick |

yes absolutely, but only in MP3 format. WM11 doesn't support aac yet

That happened when I plugged my thumb drive in when I used version 10. Any chance it worked with phones in that version too?
