HBH-DS970 with K800i |

I've bought the HBH-DS970 and i've connected it to my k800i and it works fine. I would turn on the headset and it would connect automatically with the phone but there seems to be a small bug regarding the mediaplayer.
When i press the play button on the headset the media player would open in the phone and the headset would display a music icon showing that music was being streamed to the ear peices, but sometimes there is no music coming out of the ear phones and i have to close the media player(by pressing and holding the play button) and then reopen it (by pressing the play button once.) After doing that the music plays fine.
I was wondering if anyone with this k800i and HBH-DS970 combination is experiencing similar problems?
Also does anyone notices any differences in sound when fiddling with the equalizer and listening to music through the headset? because it sounds the same to me but when i'm using the normal wired headphones i can hear a very distinct difference in sound when i change equalizer settings.

I have also experienced the no music issue a couple of times with the K800 and I find I have to turn off and on the DS970 and then its fine. As I said though I've only experienced it probably 3 or 4 times since getting the K800 and DS970
With your second issue, I don't hear any difference in the equaliser settings but stereo widening does make a difference

Yeh my sound issue can be easly resolved by just turning the mediaplayer on and off which is accessable via the headset controls. I like how i dun need to touch my fone at all..lol
Do you reckon the equalizer and how it doesn't affect the sound is a bug? i also notice that the volume when changed on the phone doesn't affect the volume on the headset, the volume on the fone could be 0 and the headset would still have music coming out of it. Oh and yeh i noticed stereo widening worked but i prefer it off. |

Yes another k800i and hbh ds970 user here, ive noticed that bug as well. The way i solve it is by pressing the play button on the headset then using the joystick i move to the next track...that seems to work then i go back to the original track i was playing and all is well. |

I haven't noticed this on the M600 or P990 so, like the non display of track info, it seems the K800 does have a couple of issues with the DS970 but as we're still waiting for our first update on the K800 I expect these will be taken care of

No the headset is perfectly fine with my hbh ds970 and even displays the track info, its the k800i that has problems with it. It will connect to the headset but it wont play straight away and plus no track info.
Im a bit surprised that there isnt a firmware update yet for the k800i or unless ive missed it. |

I've got another question. Is it possible to make the ringtone play through the headset rather than the headsets own ringtone melody? |

HOW CAN I UPDATE THIS FOR USE WITH K800i? I HAVE F/W R2C - i want to be able to see track names on the device. TY |
