 | Hi, I am new to this board. Recently I went into the service menu and went into service settings and then contrast. I messed with the contrast and then I thought it was a test and clicked yes. Then the contrast and color got out of the original settings and everything looks out of touch, picutres and all. Can someone tell me what setting (like how many clicks from the beggining of the service menu contrast is it to be back to stock settings)? Or the number of lines showing left. If you go into it, you'll know what I mean. Thank you |

 | Try doing a master reset, although it'll reset everything on your phone. By default the contrast setting is set at 10.

 | The reason for the service menu contrast setting is beacause each display is a little different. When the phone is new, the setting is set to whatever looks best for that particular display with the user contrast setting in the middle. When my phone was new the service contrast was set to -3. If I put both contrast settings in the middle, my contrast is totally washed out. I'm not sure if a master reset will set the service to the middle or to the original setting... | thanks for the advice guys. I did 0 on both setting and it too looked washed out. I set it now to -4 and pictures seem to be colored rite but it might be my imagination that it doesn't look the same since I changed the settings, heh. |
