im going down to an ice bar 2moro nite... apprantly the room stays at about -5 degrees

so is it safe to take my SE phone along? would it create problems putting it in such a cold temperature?

Are we talking about the ICE Bar in london? If so i have friends who frequent their all the time and their phones seem to be just fine...although i have'nt been myself yet,might see you their tomorrow who knows. [addsig]

It tells you in the manual the operating temperatures the phone can handle.

As far as I know, the only thing that cold temperatures can do to the battery is shorten the battery life (not permanently) quite severely. That's in places like the snow though.

I use my SE phones in -25 time to time I have not seen any problem get.

must be so sweet, no cleaing up or washing stuff, just bung it on the street and let it melt away
