First of all i live in jamaica, and i want to unlock a samsung x495 which is locked on t-mobile and also a samsung x497 which is locked on cingular, how do i go about unlocking these phones

Mmm, did you try searching on the internet (i.e. google) to see if maybe you could find any other forums in which they talked about samsung phones???
Don't take it as if we don't want to help you, but in my case I really don't know anything about samsung phones.

Okay, I am from St.Kitts over here to way the East of you near StMaarten. Most if not all sites charge fees for unlocking so be prepared to pay. Next this is a mostly site.
