W810i - cannot delete file |

There is an M4a file which was preset in to the phones sounds folder and the walkman player picks it up in the track list.
I can't seem to delete it or move it into the ringtones folder, so the walkman player will ignore it.
Is there anyway round this?

LOL as I just ran across this same issue yesterday. Can't find anyway around deleting or relocating that damn file.
However I found that if you create a new playlist in the phone and just check all folders you want included except ringtones and the dreaded SE Greeting then it will indeed be omitted from playback.

You are right by saying that you should create a new playlist, I have mentioned this in another thread. The only way you'd be able to delete the file is when there is a new plugin for FAR which supports the W810i. I used FAR to do away with all the standard pics and sounds on my W800i.

Thanks. I don't really think it's worth tampering with the phone and risking ruining it, just for the sake of one little file. |
