How do I get the media player to play all music types it supports? It only shows my MP3s, but I want to know if I can allow it to play my .midi sounds.

It will only show mp3's as it's an mp3 player. If it doesn't show the midi files when u select all tracks, it obviously means it won't read them

you can play midi files by going into file manager/sounds and then playing it that way.
It won't play through the media player.

I wish it would...a media player is supposed to be more versatile than just MP3s/ACC.

My Mp3 player played midi once. I downloaded it from the PlayNow menu (from Sony Ericsson). I noticed that when I opened the memory stick with my PC and browsed to the file, next to it there was another hidden file with the same name, but different extension. So my Mp3 Player played the midi file. So I don't know if it is like that because of that ''other'' ile with different extension, maybe there is a way to create another file like that to listen your other midis in the mp3 player. |
