What are the K800 competitors? |

At the moment I guess we could call Sony Ericsson's flagship phone the K800i. Now I've seen a lot of threads here comparing it to the Nokia N73 and N80 ... But, I'm curious, what would the "rival" to the K800i be with all the other phone manufacturers? (Obviously this is in terms of features)
Cheers.

the K800 is the best none symbian phone on the market.
its got no competitors.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

re D900 - The build quality of Samsung phone is pretty poor IMO, the paint on the plastic always wears badly.
That's one thing that SE definately have going for them, they build good quality/durable products, possible only matched by some of the higher end Moto's

IMHO... it's kinda imba to compare a smartphone (N73) to k800i but in terms of a non-smartphone I wouldn't say k800i is the best but I would rank it as the top few phones in the market |

Apart from the Sharp 903 (which is Vodafone exclusive) and the D900/D870, there is no other 3 megapixel non-smartphone phones for the K800 to be compared to. The closest competitors are the Nokia 6233 and to some extent the V3x, and the V3xx. The K800 is more superior than any of the above though. None can trounce it.
But a more realistic battle would be it and the Nokia N series. N80, N73 and the N93 in particular, but that's a bit unfair, especially with the far higher prices.

A well-known Dutch comparing-site (NewMobile) compared photos from K800i, N73, N93 and LG KG920 (5mp!). Overall, the K800i came out the best . This was on photo-quality only, you can't compare non-symbian phones to Symbian ones, which cost twice as much.

The comparison must be made by price bracket and sorry but the n73 is just 40euros more expensive. So it's the same price bracket. And imo the n73 outbest k800 in all matters even in pix except in night mode thanks to the xenon flash.
