Hi
Please post your PhotoDJ work, if you have any, whatever model you have. I'm sort of skeptical about how good work can be edited in it, so I'm hoping to be proven wrong :P .
P.S. Just something I came accross: on my k750, you can choose a colour from the colour pallete or volume keys, and then you'd get a tint of that colour applied on the whole image if you go to the effects menu and tint.

PhotoDJ is useless when you take pics at 2MP res. The image gets so much zoomed in and there's no way to zoom out. |

Hi
You can preview, but I see what you mean.
P.S. the image shown in my post is actually a large image taken and edited in large mode, but it's been resized. The link below is to the 'full' version:

Hi
Here's some edited foil: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3261238
(click thumbnail to englarge). It makes a decent backgroud if you have a reddish type of theme (liked default SE theme).
Here's a bluetooth image I made (100% photodj tools used excluding a photographed white background for a canvas): http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3261233

P.S. It was drawn from memory so it may be a little different.

After spending ages exploring and exprimenting with PhotoDJ (have not posted all of my work), here are the good and bad points I could come up with:
The good:
-The effect's aren't that bad;
-Tint effect tints the image with a colour of your choice;
-Many colours in colour pallet;
-Text colour can be changed;
-You can zoom in to see the individual pixels on a grid if you have the pen tool (160by120);
-You can choose a colour from the actual canvas (colour picker);
-Keypad can be used instead of joystick;
-You can frame images with installed frames, and
-You can adjust pen size whilst zoomed out as well as if you want pre-installed shapes to be 'filled'.
The bad:
-Diagonal movements are rarely diagonal (in my experience);
-Very, very limited undo (and redo) functions;
-You Can't adjust pen size whilst zoomed in (160by120);
-Only fully functional with 160by120 pictures-that is small (with regards to image size in the camera settings
-So hard, that it's a waste of time trying to edit pictures of 'useful' size (such as 640by480 as oppose to 160by120);
-You can't add to the frame or clip art collection, baring in mind there is a limited range of clipart installed
-Pointer/Cursor doesn't provide much accuracy;
-Takes a long time to save large-sized images;
-You can't zoom out of large images (such as 640by480) and edit. You can only preview, which zooms out fully, but you can't edit, and
-A limited number of effects.
I Can't think on much more points right now.
In my opinion, I think they just made PhotoDJ to have a neat-looking trio of 'DJ' software; video, audio and photo make a nice trio I'm sure you agree. The application itself is far from complete, having many disadvantages such as no undo funtion for the necessary pen tool. PhotoDJ is a waste of space on the phone, they could have made better use of the space, such as adding more features to VideoDJ, which I think has potential. If you want a simple effect on your image, then that's all PhotoDJ can do well (provided it's in 160by120 mode ). However, drawing in PhotoDJ, whether it be from scratch or on a photo isn't worth the time, I think.
