w900 review - theme on page 14 |

hi folks, i was reading the review of the w900 and i noticed the theme on page 14 of the review!..... its really cool, but its not on my phone as standard and i havent been able to find it.
heres the link to the picture.... its the theme on the left.

Its called backstreet and it is available on the site for download by wap.

oh right, well i seem to have that them on my mobile, but the menu icons havent changed?
is there something else i need to do?

i've downloaded it, and it still hasnt changed my menu icons
plus, the preview on the sony ericsson site doesnt look the same on the screen shot, OR my mobile?
could it be because my service provider is vodafone? and they've hard coded the menu icons?

My W900i is also from Vodafone, and yes, they have fixed the icons. You can only change them by flashing your phone, and getting rid of the Vodafone firmware. I did that, and the new icons are really cool.  |

Its not a problem with the phone. The problem is with Vodafone stopping you from having the fun you want with your phone.
You're only option is to get rid of all the Voda branding on your phone by flashing it, or getting someone else to flash it for you.
