I've been with o2 for a year now and I fell what I am paying monthly is too much (£25 per month 750 off peak minutes). I was told that if I tell them the right things I can be offered the latest phones for free and contracts at a reduced price. I'm not sure what exaclty to say though...

tell them you want to leave, your fed up with their network, to exspensive, crap coverage, say you can get the phone you want on another network for cheaper and your going to leave if o2 cant beat it. Things like that

Should I mention other networks? e.g. Orange have offered me the same number of minutes + 100 anytime minutes for £15 a month and then £17.50 thereafter...with a free k800i

It's okay to tell a little lie isn't it lol

My K800i arrived from O2 this morning, after weeks of threats about going to Orange, best deal I could get was

k800i £69.99
512mb stick £20.00
line rental down from £25 to £10 with same free calls & texts.

Btw, where do i get a k800i pic from for my posts?

Damn, £70? But then again I won't be lowering my price as much as down to £10...

...or buying a memory card for that matter lol

I'm planning to lower the price down to £20 and increase my minutes to 1000 (Previously 750) off peak. I'don't really care about texts so lowering 100 to 50 would be fine. Will I be able to get a free phone with this combo?

Take a look at this thread

I notice you are gunning for off peak minutes - why not go for anytime?
If you're going through hell - keep going.
