Exploding K800i ! |

Ive just had someone come into my shop who took the K800i yesterday, came back today still with all its wraps on, put it on charge when he got home, took it off, the guy was making a cup of tea then bang the phone exploded internally, looked normal but absoloutley stunk of burnt PCB  |

it is the hottest 3.2Megapixel camera phone ... but cant believe it will explode
EDIT: about the Explode W810.. it does come with a picture though.. but for this... come on.. at least a picture after burnt or toasted sould be ok

i believe that
coz i saw pics of laptop exploding due to some probs with lithium iron batteries

the k800 has lithium polimer battery 
maybe this one was faulty or had some internal problems ...

As I said the phone was still with the clear stickers on, it looked completley normal but absoloutley stunk of burnt pcb, if we had smellivision id let you smell for yourself lol.
There was also a case of an exploding K750i (proper explode) whih was picked up by Ericsson person to be investigated (about 3 months ago)
Bit worried as 2 of us where I work (o2 shop) have them |

no, was really weird, I thought the lcd would be atleast cracked but it was ok, I checked the terimanls on the charger and the bottom of the phone to see if they were singed, nothing under the battery looked normal too but would not boot up atall with the battery in.
Weve emailed our Ericsson rep to inform him of whats happened and see what they say

LMAO.. you shouldn't use the word Exploding then.. that shock the hell out of me since my sister getting one on this week .. maybe internal burn or something else

well in all honesty, the gentleman that dropped it in said he was in the kitchen and he actually heard the phone "expolde" next door which is why he realised when it was off and it stunk that it couldnt have been anything other :s |
