is it possible to set up a feedback service?

Works very well on other boards, then it makes paying easier i.e. making deals whether a person pays by paypal (which means fees) or by bank transfer, which can mean a quicker deal and no fees!

What say you esato?!

Quite complicated and not crystal clear though is it?

Then you have to search through the whole list, read comments on every page, its very tedious.

How about just having something like a html link titled, 'Feedback' under the pesons avatar, once you click on it, you can see positives or negatives and a small comment from the receiver of the deal?

Much easier I guess, then again, it could take long for your guys to set up.

There's a summary on the first page of everyone's feedback so you don't have to search through the entire thread

esato isnt a deal forum, like gaybay etc imo the mentioned thread is more then enough, no need to turn esato to a bazaar

seems fairly straightforward to me and its worked here for a few years now.

In fact that thread is the second much improved version (all previous feedback was carried over)

I'm sure MikLSP welcomes suggestions and often implements them but as its a member run facility I don't think any of that will be integrated into the forum scripts in the way you suggest

the overall feedback summary showing +ve and -ve is usually all that needs to be checked but you tend to learn who are the more reliable traders from their posts and dealings

I have only just noticed this

As masseur said I run the A-ZoTT list purely as a member and it isn't actually an esato "feature".
I started it a little over two years ago and it has evolved onto the form you see now with several little additions and improvements.

I do of course welcome your comments and suggestions though I don't think there is any chance of it becoming more integrated into peoples profiles.

I would say the best way to make use of the list is to simply look at a users feedback score and also look at who their positives are from.
Of course it isn't written in stone but I always think that a seller with a lot of good refs from other respected users and traders looks better than a seller with refs from lesser know users.

I hope that doen't come across in the wrong manner

Any comments please feel free to post them or PM me

Cheers

Mik
