Here is an interesting look: I had an AT&T phone and I tried to unlock it via remote unlock. The ERIC Client report I have a IMEI of 000000-00-000000 and blank NCK. When I tried to flash it, it report "fail to retreive security entry".
The phone is OK. When I used *#06#, it report correct IMEI. SO the ERI Client can not read the phone IMEI in order to calculate the NCK. Am I right?
What really interesting is when I used the Image Editor software to download picture to the phone through the IR port, it Image Editor can read the phone IMEI and even the firmware version?
Somebody should take a look at this. There must be an algorithm or command sequences inside the Image Editor to do this. |
