See 3's HSDPA network in action |

3 was showing off its new HSDPA network in London this week, demonstrating how much faster it is than slow old 3G for activities like downloading music tracks and streaming video.
In the video below shows two handsets, the one on the left is HSDPA, and the one on the right is 3G,the HSDPA one downloads the song in around 30 seconds, at which point the 3G phone isn't even halfway.

Wow! I hope the famous n83 will really be hsdpa.

s**t that was fast lol!
i just hope HSDPA is slightly more wide-spread than the current UMTS networks...well...i've heard there's a test HSDPA network in Newbury, Berkshire (where Vodafone HQ is) for vodafone. But as far as i know HSDPA isn't wide-spread in the UK atall (it's in testing at the moment isn't it???)

T-Mobile are to do the initial consumer launch of HSDPA on 01/09/06....initially with the Web N Walk data card which is HSDPA enabled but hopefully handset won't be long after! |
