Does any one know how I would be able to end my contract early with 3? Ive only had the contract for 5 weeks but it is an 18month contract, but I did not know they locked there sims to only work in 3G phones as I wont to leave.

If any one can help that would be great.

I'm not sure where you live but in the US I've had luck terminating a contract by claiming to be the victim of phone harassment an d needed to cancel my number. T-Mobile did this for me no problem.

I've also heard that if you claim to have moved outside your coverage area this too could work.
