Hello all,
I see there are a few people who have had trouble synching in File Transfer mode but my PC will recognise the phone in that mode. If I go to Phone Mode, the PC doesn't see the phone at all to sync though it can see it in device manager. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software a couple of times to no avail (no installation has been the same which is a little worrying!). Anyone had any similar issues or got any ideas?

Thanks

M

I get an OBEX errror "MPM_OBEX_TIMEOUT_ERROR" when synchronizing with MS Outlook contacts using phone mode. This happens when phone shows about 232 contacts sent, although the detailed view shows no transfer. The phone then hangs and after some time, it "self reboots" to file transfer mode. Anyone has this same problem?

Had no problem so far, my K800 works perfectly in both file transfer mode and phone mode.

I solved my earlier sync problem by deleting all the contacts on my phone and then synchronizing with MS Outlook again.

I've had a similar issue when it stop at contact 35 and then phone freezes. I've found I can individually send a contact to PC. First used software from CD, then downloaded later vesion from Se site but same problem. Phone conects OK otherwise. Sounds like I may have to send all one by one, clear phone and then sync - what fun!

The problem does not occur if pictures and/or ringtones are not added to contacts.

Upgraded to R1JG001 firmware. It has resolved the contacts sync problem.
