When will mobile phones have the great video playback of the ipod vedio, which phone do you think has the best video playback, in terms of smoothness and clarity (not a video that was recorded with the phone)

The K800 has the best video playback, along with the W900.
The K800 does QVGA (320x240) MPEG4 at 30 fps.

i am a heavy video user on mobile-phones (several movies and etc..)

saw the results on:
K800i
W900i
S500i
W950i
P990i
M600i
K850i
K750i
W800i
and some more

my rankings

P990i: best (and i mean BEST) video experience (have watched even 1200kbps videos with it)

W950i and M600i (i think that the P1 and the W960 are also the same): fantastic....(video bitrate is same as above)

K850i: very good and sharp quality (but sound is not in sync with the video -- on very rare occations TBH)

K800i and W900i and S500i: very good and sharp quality (max bitrate will be around 400kbps)

Definitely Samsung phones.
You can make an MP4, 1.5Mbps (yes.. 1.5Mbps), with stereo audio 160kbps, 30 fps and it will still play sooo smoothly.

I think nokia N95x,N82,N93 etc are best in buisness.Another honorable mention should be lg ku990..
I think N96 raises the bar a bit,it introduces VGA h.264 playback at 30fps.Thats on par with ipod video playback
