I bought one last year. Is working fine, but it has the same problem as all the Ericsson chargers: the connection with the phone is not too reliable. You have to bend it a little sometimes to get it to charge.
It is charging real fast, faster then the standard Ericsson charger. I don't know how this will affect the battery after longer use. And they are quite expensive, around 15 Euro for a piece of cable....

I got a USB charger free with a T39 'fone data suite' (cable and software). The total package was about £28 for the full package. It works really well, and means I can charge my phone from my laptop if i'm away from a plug socket!

It might actually be better for the phone, because the USB power supply would have been 'cleaned' by the PC. Not sure if this is the case, but it sounds good!!

Interesting.

Does it mean you can communicate with the phone and charge the batteries at the same time?

Nope, unfortunately not. But I saw Ericsson will come with a new USB datacable. I saw it on www.expansys.com. Pretty steep price by the way: aroudn 70USD! Probably means that they make 68USD profit...

for those who have the T39 (or used to own one) and T68.

Do they share the same kind of charger? Can I interchange their chargers?

I dont have a T39 and havent seen a T68 up close

How do you guys get on with you USB chargers?, I'm off to the US this Friday and I was thinking of buying one of these cables at the electronic shop at Heathrow.
Also temped to 'modify' my P900 usb base station so it charges...

All SE phones and newer Ericsson phones (like T28 and onward) use the same charger. Well they might come with chargers with slightly different specs but they are interchangeable.

No I don't use a USB charger, since these chargers are not OEM.
