I am very confused about the multitude of data/net profiles.
On my K800 (as well as all previous SE phones I have used) there are so many. I would like to know what the difference is, since I looked at my bill and found that data through "0range Wap" was charged at almost twice the rate as through "Orange Internet"

Data Accounts:
Orange GPRS Wap
Orange MMS
Orange GPRS Internet
Orange Wap

Internet Profiles:
Orange GPRS (using Orange GPRS Wap)
Orange (Using Orange Wap)
Orange MMS (Using Orange MMS)
Orange Internet (Using Orange GPRS Internet)

That is a lot of possible combinations, but what do they all mean?!

What you should be paying attention to are your Internet Profiles because that is the option that lets you select which of the wap profiles to use.

I can't tell you much but I found that Orange GPRS Internet is also the one I have least problems with.

I couldn't use Opera Mini with the others.

However, I am surprised they are charging different rates and I think Orange is expensive no matter which option you choose.

@lukealexande, the rate depends on the operator, Orange.

Suppose it is like this,

Orange GPRS (using Orange GPRS Wap) : Browser in WAP mode, through wap gateway over GPRS.
Orange MMS (Using Orange MMS) : MMS though WAP gateway
Orange Internet (Using Orange GPRS Internet) : Browser in http mode, full internet access over GPRS.
Orange (Using Orange Wap) : Browser in WAP mode, through wap gateway over GSM.

You don't need to configure new combinations normally.
