Nokia 6233 is decent! |

I recently purchased a Nokia 6233 for a female friend and was really surprised by how good it was!
Yes... I've been a Ericsson fan boy for ages, but it's hard to be too biased as I work as a software developer, so I get dev handsets and prototypes all the time to evaluate.
The 6233 didn't blow me away with one specific feature, but rather this is a great all round phone. Decent looks, solid build, great screen, capable camera, Quadband, Edge and 3G, push to talk, latest MIDP2 JSRs, expandable memory, media player, radio, crystal clear and bassy stereo loadspeakers, the list goes on!
What a well rounded phone, its hard to fault! Much nicer than it's SE competitor the K800i, which has great features and highlights, but isn't as well rounded as the Nokia.
Would I buy one? Probably not. Only due to the fact that I love the SE user interface - the Series 40 UI is for technophobes and old people.
So, what do you think?

Yep, seems to have a good set of features in not too large a package.
I would step away from the UI though.

i am really not a k800 fan, but i dont think that 6233 is "better" then k800. imo those 2 fones cannot be compared.

Overall it's an OK phone. Nothing spectacular, except maybe for the screen. But its looks are pretty bad IMO. But it's this type of phone that sells well, a well rounded device.
