Key sound problem on K800i |

Still loving this phone but i found something a bit strange today, i went into my menu and had a look at my key sounds and found it was set to silent. Anyways thought id see what click and tone sounds like but it seems that they do not work...which is kinda confusing to be honest.
So is this problem the same with your k800i??/ or do you get the click/tone sound from the keys??. Ive turned up the volume and made sure the phone isnt in silent mode etc etc but still cant get any sound from the keys.
Also another thing i wanted to ask, when you send an email it keeps asking if i want to save the email addy but i dont want to really. But i cant seem to find any option where you can turn it off. Whereas with the new contacts you can switch it on and off etc.
So anyone know the answers to these 2 questions....
EDIT: Seems like i figured out how to turn off the auto save feature on the emails lol, seems like turning it off in teh contacts menu also turns it off in the write new email menu as well.

Here too but after a while it disappears and you will have to restart the phone again.

It is a known bug and has been discussed on Esato several times already. A search should come up with solutions.

Hi guys,
i got a k800i about 2 days ago on optus. now i am having the same problem as you have. i had checked many times if the "click" tone is on for the keytone, and it sure is. When i recieve a phone call it just turns off! So i turn the phone off and the click comes back on...But then again when i recieve a phone call it turns back off..I was just wondering how do i update my software so this glitch can be fixed?..So just wondering again..its not only me who has got this minor problem?..The phone is excellent just this little problem which is annoying me..
Please reply:)
Thankyou |
