How many messages can the K800 hold, i know i have had a lot just but i deleted them because the phone was getting a bit laggy.
Does anyone know?

Some say 1000 or something, it's really weird that you can't see it in the phone.
Phone history: T20e, T100, T630, K600i and now K800i

If you run MyPhoneExplorer - available from http://www.fjsoft.at/ - and open Memorystatus, it will show you the amount of space there is available for the various aspects of the phone. For my K800i it shows:

Contacts-phone: 1000
Contacts-SIM: 200
SMS-phone: 1000
SMS-SIM: 20

That is a lot of messages! it usually gets too slow by then though so just delete them

Yeah, it is 1000 but as you say it gets so slow. And without folders the idea of keeping 1000 seems pointless. If they had a search feature on the other hand...kind of like GMail - that would be excellent.
