Question about K800 buttons |

Hello,
I just got my K800 and really like this phone so far. There's only one thing that is bother me. One of the 2 main buttons does not give me the option to go to the menu (the right one). The left one is set to "calls" which i dont mind but i cant find where to change the right one. Right now it is set to "Planet 3". Is this a branded phone??? if so, how can i unbrand it??? if not, how can i fix this problem???
Thanks in advance for your help.

Right my k800i has calls on the left menu button and menu on the right menu button but then mine is a sim free model ie not branded by any networks.
Seems like yours is branded so you need to head off to the da vinci website where it will cost you 7 euros or something to buy a credit to flash the k800i to a generic SE firmware and get rid off all that network branded rubbish. |

many thanks for the quick reply spawn. will this also get rid of another little problem i found.
with my old k750, in camera mode in silent mode, it would not beep when focused or make a shutter sound. not so with my k800. there is no option to disable the shutter sound and it still beeps in silent mode.
will this be fixed after unbranding? |

I dont know my friend, when i de-branded my w810i it didnt get rid of the shutter sound so i would imagine its the same for the k800i unless they have a newer firmware out.
Only way to disable the shutter sound is by going into silent mode on the k800i |

www.wotanserver.com should work too. Depending on region (and branding) your camera will sound even in silent mode. This is because it's illegal to sell a camera without shutter sound in ex. Hong Kong. In most other regions the camera is silent in "silent mode". |
