I think the number probably follows the same syntax at SonyEricsson as within Ericsson. I don't have access to the actual standard definitions, so I cannot tell exactly, but I think that "CDA" tells you what kind of product it is, like "AXE", which stands for electronic telephone switch. CDA probably stands for mobile phone with 3G or somethng similar. The digits is the product number, and 102568 stands for the product K800. The number after the slash is a code for a product version or variant, probably language or market dependant or maybe operator branding dependant.
You can also see the software for the K800, which is CXC1250210, where CXC probably stands for software in a mobile phone
My k800i is a CDA102568/13 btw, it's an unbranded K800 for the nordic market, with english, swedish, danish, norwegian, finnish and icelandic language packs installed. |
