My t68i keypad is very dull and not bright at all like all the other t68i's i have seen.

what can i do.

i bought the phone in June 2002.

if you want it that badly, i know a place where they sell aftermarket leds, that are extremely bright, but personally i would not alter the phone because the leds are dimm, might cause you more trouble than good, but if you are interested let me know, i tell you where to get it, it is in canada though, i think...
Another solution, is to take it to the service center and complain they might be able to fix it for ya...

You can also buy new LED's in different colors on Ebay. Soldering is required, though...

not for sure it's enough with changing the LED's... might be a faulty resistor... however... bring it to a servicepoint and they can fix it...

i dont want to open up the phone or do any soldering.

is it possible i could just do a swap or something. is this issue covered under waranty.

yes it's covered by warranty... most likely you will get it replaced by another unit... unless the servicepoint you leave it to are aware that they actually can fix this by themselves (if they have the parts)

they might... the first thing they should check is if there is any warranty of production left by checking the production date... but they might ask for a receipt
