I have come to rely on Esato more and more when looking for mobile products. I have never been a big fan of places like CPW, P4U etc....But recently i have been trying to source either info or actual hardware, and my first port of call has been Esato. Now i know most of the stuff is used or as new, but i feel i know i am dealing with people who know a thing or two about phones rather than the usual Sales banter.

Even friends are now asking me to source products for them as they seem to think i am going to have more chance of finding what they want.

So really wanted to say thank you Esato and thank you to all people on here who make it possible.

Would people agree with the above?

nope, I don't I find that although esato is good for a few things and there are a few mobile specialists such as the dealers (inc myself) it can never replace a proper outlet. Ebay sells 99% of everything seen on esato and thats far more likely to replace retailers
Check out my sales

I will honor Laffens gift of P990 flip free avartar, but I sold the p990

I agree with Luke here. Esato is great port of call for random "used" items but it's not an alternative for a retailer.
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker

I'd say the advice here on Esato beats any Mobile Outlet hands-down.

Thanks to the discussions I read here, I've become the resident Mobile expert among my friends/family/workmates.

As for internet sellers, most of them here in NZ know nothing about thier products. Many have been selling Z800's and V802SE's here and calling them V800's despite the fact that the imported phones can't connect to VFNZ's local services due to software differences... I've even seen fake SE lookalike phones for sale on the net.
I don't think this type of business practice has a future.
