Have something odd here.

I had a text from o2 saying that its time to pick your new o2 treat by calling free on 2211 etc etc.

Thing is, this text in my inbox says "Message in use" when I try to delete it from my inbox. Whats going on with this? and how do you get rid of these texts?

Thanks.

Who knows? I'd suggest the phone has confused itself. I'd just try switching it off and back on and then have a go. I get them on mine and never had any probs.

I've experienced this too. A message from a friend. Had to reboot to delete it.

Yep a handset reboot did the trick thanks

Is this a K800i firmware problem or general Sony Ericsson handset problem?

Well never heard of it happening before, and its not been reported, so its probably just the phone getting itself confused and a complete one off, but no doubt it'll get fixed in the next firmware!

Cheers

Anyone who has had this trouble should post it in the K800 Firmware Overview thread. It helps document the bugs.

its normal, sometimes its a network message and the only way of deleting it is to reboot, what normally happens is you press delete, it says deleted and still shows up.
