The Twilight mode on my K800i is much worse for low-light shots than the standard mode (without flash), in terms of both light captured and blur from shaking. I also compared the Twilight (and standard) modes directly with the previous 2Mp model's night mode in low-light conditions, and the earlier model was *significantly* better.
Also, when using flash/LED for medium/close up shots, the previous model has better colour balance (except for purples), far less flaring and less noise. It seems the LEDs are better for close shots, as the K800i flash either overexposes and/or causes colour bleed, especially between black and white areas. I am using the highest resolution and Fine, and image stabilising is on, etc. Be great if an upgrade allowed reduction in flash level and selecting ISO. (I tried lowering the ev).
Anyone else had these issues, or do I have a duff phone?
Otherwise, I like it a lot. I know it's primarily a phone, but it does claim to be a capable camera, too, and should be better than the previous model at least.
