O2 - When can I upgrade my contract? |

I've got a 12 month Contract..
Do I have to wait 12 months to upgrade my phone, isn't it possible at 9?
Anyone? |

u can upgrade at 11 months or it;ll cost you. Ex O2 custumer speaking thats a recent ex O2 now on orange. due to upgrade difficulties

If you are an o2 select customer, ie you spend more than £40 a month I think (They would have told you if you are unsure). You can upgrade after 9months I have just been told, not that it is any consolation, I'm still waiting for the P990.... |

thats not right, select customers are ones who continually spend over £100 per month and can get upgrades every 6 months  |

Hmm, well I got a select pack come through and I haven't spent over a hundred a month on my bill in at least a year (Work was paying for it whilst I was using it abroad on business...phew), but I was told as long as I spent over £40 (or £45 can't rmember) a month I would be a Select customer... |

it may vary, but thats the info given to me by my manager and its deffo every 6 months, there might be different bandings for it !? |

what does it mean if your in banding E?

The bandings go from A to Y with A being the lowest spenders and therefore shelling out more for an upgrade.
I know as my upgrade was due this month and I'm an A!!!
They wanted £179.99 for a new K800 so cancelled that contract and took out a new one with a free K800....that'll teach 'em!!

band A= +60 surcharge except for "5 free handsets"
band E = handset price, dependant of tariff |

Im a band c customer got my D600 for 80GBP January this year. Anyhows ive seen the D900 now and I wann'it lol does anyone know what prices o2 charge to upgrade ur phone early? Ive been told I can upgrade start of December lol but thats ages away.
