Some people still don't seem to understand that you should'nt use your phone when driving.....if you have no respect for your own life at least think about someone else...It really scares me when i see some people texting and driving..i mean people like that should'nt be allowed to own phones at all. It has officially been "outlawed" here in Ireland. Those using a mobile whilst driving will recieve penalty points and I think a fine.

About time too!
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker

It's the same in the UK, however it does not stop people from doing it.

Yeah, I agree with Del. I mean, it's one thing to make a law, but enforcing it is the hard part. I still see so many people doing it...

The police should have the power to destroy the phone on the spot if you are caught driving and using it.

There are no exceptions needed as its very easy to pull over then answer the phone.

I too feel strongly about this as my father was knocked off his motorbike by some idiot that was more interested in talking on the phone than driving safely.

I was shocked a while back when i was sitting behind the wheel of my car talking on the phone and got an arsy jobsworth copper trying to fine me. I was like hey look the car is not moving you complete idiot...but it turns out you can get fined if the keys are in the ignition and the car is NOT running?

How much does it cost for a BT headset these days. A small price to pay for safer roads.

Nice Indian ad...

Yes,driving while using a mobile phone is big risk...it invites heavy fine in metro cities in India...i also read reports that even using handsfree while driving is risky.
