Apparently I'm due my yearly mobile upgrade and for the first time in years I'm not sure which phone to go for.
At the moment I have a W800i and would prefer to stick to SE phones.
The options I can see so far:
K800 - the different memory card is annoying
W810 - is this really an upgrade, or more a side-grade?
W900
W850 - If it ever gets released!
M600 - can't find this on vodafone at the moment.
Any suggestions?

yeah well eeehm, don't take a w810 like you said it's really a side-grade but with a nicer design, the m600 has no camera and is a little big, but that's my opinion, w900 also big but specs are nice, same story for the w850 and for the k800 of course it's annoying about the micro stick but it's really a nice phone, i bought a pack with a 512 mb micro stick with it so no probs here:-)

personally i was in the same postion, however i lost my phone (W800) on saturday I was ready for upgrade on the 14th.. longs story short i've moved from o2 to orange and now have the SE k800. and i'm truely impressed.
the memory card this is a bother since i also have a PSP and cards were swapable.
however i recon they must beable to bring out a card adaptor allowing you to put a M2 in to a pro duo slot. just have to wait becos the M2 is relatively new at the moment.
I wanted to stick to SE's too, and didnt want M600 because of the lack of camera, the camera on the K800 is awesome and its the new gen, instead of the 810 which is just a ugraded version.
I like to stay at the head of the tech, so if i were you i'd get the K800, since like the W800 this time last year it is the top of its kind, and by this time next year the next gen will follow and everybody will be saying i've got a K800 and don't know wat to upgrade to,

Go for either the W900 (if you want video), the K800 (if you want camera) and the W850 (if you want music) and the M600 (for smartphone), whichever is most important. The W850 will apparently come with a 1GB memory card. It just depends on what you want and I'm personally waiting for the new Cybershot with QVGA video.

I would have like to wait for that but i've not even seen any pictures which usually means like 3 months before a release, have you seen any pictures that i've just missed out on or sumit?

Nup sorry, no pictures yet. If you really can't wait and want/need a new phone now, as I said, it just depends on what you want out of your phone. Video, camera, music or smartphone.

i've got the K800, its just I heard taht SE were releasing a seperate phone which has the speciality of video, however, i'd seen no evidence of this coming soon,
so I would have liked this video specialised phone, but since it wasn't coming out within the the year, i decided that the K800 is the next best thing, and i'm happy....
well actually the "Identify Music" tab is missing off my radio player?!?! i'm on orange (from O2, W800) maybe they nicked it?

i have a W800, and now i´m paying it yet... but when w850 sales start, I will buy one of this... If I´m not wrong, the W850 will use the same memory stick Duo. So I can keep the same stick for my musics.
Of course, if you look for a better cam, K800 is the best option | |
