First remember to activate the POP3 for your Gmail account. Then use the settings on this page:

just a question, do the emails consume memory on the phone or the mem card? or none?

EDIT: nvm, already know the answer.

Hi,

I've my gmail account set up on my P990 and it works great.
The only problem is that when hitting a send/receive I each time got a pop up message telling me that the chertificate has not been verified (or something like that). I transferred the appropriate certificate from my pc to the phone but this comes out as a word document. That means I can't save it as a certificate.

Did anyone manage to fix this ?

How do I get the gmail certificate installed on the phone and not appearing as a text or word document ?

Thanks,

I too have managed to set up gmail as a pop account on my mobile phone, w850i, and have the same issue of once viewed and the application closed they are not kept in the inbox on my w850i. I also have another pop account on my w850i and the messages are stored in the inbox. Makes the gmail account on my phone useless. Any knowledge on this?

Maybe you could tweak your Gmail settings. Advanced, may be.
