Right I have an 8800 and it's stuck to having a certain theme, and I reset factory settings and it still has this theme.

The problem is I don't want a theme at all, just for it to be plain white. Any way of getting around this as It won't let me delete the theme.

I haven't got an 8800 but on the 8910 you just have to go to options - display - settings - wallpaper and select 'off'.if you want a plain white screen. Failing that, you should be able to edit the theme on the phone itself to show no wallpaper in a similar way.

I realise that the 8800 is much newer and has a better screen but I'd be surprised if the no wallpaper option was no longer there (somwhere)!

The 6030 has this problem. You can remove the wallpaper but that still leaves silly images in the menu background which I assume is your problem!?

I haven't yet found a fix for this. I looks as though, once you select a theme you can never go back to NOT having a theme. GODDAM NOKIA!

Ahh right, the 8910 doesn't have menu images.

That's a bit rubbish if you can't remove them!

Any help would be great.

Also is there a regular "ring ring" tone for the phone, the ones that come on the 8800 sound like grinding metal

Just looking for one that makes it sound like an olden day house phone, mp3 would be great
