The joystick on my K800 does not work all too well. It usually works alright in directions up and left (portrait, not camera mode), but I have a lot of trouble using it for down or right. Right seldom does anything at all, sometimes it is interpreted as joystick click. Down can become left/right/down/cllick/45 degrees down+left/right. Different programs seem to be more or less sensitive to this, and Opera Mini seems to be more sensitive, on the limit of being impossible to use.

I have debranded my phone, previously branded by Hutchinson/3 Sweden, using wotanserver.com and had no problems with that, but it makes me a bit reluctant to turn the phone to 3, who I bought it from, to have it repaired. Maybe they refuse to touch it when it is debranded (voided warranty?), or maybe they decide to rebrand it. The latter would not be a major problem, of course.

The keys are funny, too. There is a hollow tone when I use key 5, as if something is loose under it. Are other K800's like this too?

I also had problems with disappearing shortcuts, the joystick ones. I would change it to what I wanted it to be, and later it would have turned back, This happened with the original branded phone, not sure if it has happened since debranding.

Lately even java programs have disappeared for me. Some programs just go missing, and I have to reinstall them.

Sometimes the phone seems to reboot, quite at random. Earlier this afternoon I was listening to the radio and browsing the web when my wife called, and when I tried to answer the phone rebooted. Screen went blank, full white, blank again, later back to normal default screen (no PIN needed), and it started searching for networks.

Is my phone just bad, or does anyone else have some or all of these problems?

No dust under the screen on my phone, but today all RSS feeds were gone, and it is impossible to add new ones. Phone says the RSS list is full, when it really is empty.

This is all starting to feel a bit weird. I guess my specimen is a bad one.

SE really need to address the joystick problem seriously. Another reason why I didn't want to go for it. The CAN make good joysticks (K600), so why don't they use the same techiniques with all their phones?!
