That would be wonderful, but Sony has always been using proprietary stuff on almost all its products.
resistance is futile. |

I suspect that this will only affect Japan.

Yes japan initially but i don't see why this won't expand to the wider world, after all most other japanese technologys have.

It would be far easier if it went this way
http://www.ghostrx.net T300 > T610 > K700i > K750i > K800i > K850i > W910i > K850i (after flash with R1FA035) > C905 (broken earpiece as of 23/01/09) > BB 9000 > BB Bold 9700 > SE Experia X10 Mini Pro |

Does this mean that all charger ports, voltages, etc. will be the same, i.e. you could use the charger you got with a Nokia with a ?

I don't know why everyone doesn't just adopt the defacto standard of windows mobile phones, i.e. mini USB
Motorola have used it on the V3 series for some time and probably others already do too

its not so standard!

I'm fairly sure I have used the V3 charger and the k-jam charger on either device but even if my memory doesn't serve me well I have the V3 USB cable at home and the k-jam USB cable in the office and over the last year have mix- and-matched charging the two phones using those, so I'm puzzled what the problem would be with the wall charger?
