W800i battery charging problem |

i was caught in the rain a couple days ago and was soaked in water. my w800i was in my pocket and some water sipped through the rain coat and cami in contact with the phone..there was some moisture on the screen but i got rid of that when i charged the phone that night..but ever since i'm having problem with my charge...even if i fully charge the battery it rapidly charges out...even it i keep it idle in charges out in about 6 hours...my phone is new and i bought only a couple of weeks ago and before the rain incident it was working fine...should i change the battery and get a new one??will changing the battery solve the problem??please help... |

At water damage the most important thing is to take out the batt asap. U should let it check in a service point to avoid more bugs later.

I am experiencing the same problem. My W800i's battery has started behaving oddly. I charge it fully, phone showing it as fully charged but it gets discharged within couple of hours.
I swapped my battery with a friend owning W800i....my battery is looking good in his phone but his battery seems to be draining off in my phone.
Seems like a set problem rather than battery's !!
What happened in your case? Did you find any resolution?
