Heeeeelp! Latest problem |

Honestly, this phone is even more unreliable than the 7110 I had (and that's saying something!).
The latest problem is that it crashes (but doesn't bother to tell me). The phone appears to be absolutely fine, but the first symptom is when calling a short-dial number (eg <1> ) it says no number stored. Then if I dial a number normally, it dials it, and then freezes on the 'Calling ...' screen. The only thing I can do after this is to take the battery off. After the phone comes back on, I find it hasn't been working for the last 4 hours, and I've missed loads of calls.
This is now happening about once every day and is really annoying. Any suggestions? |

never happened to me, but sounds bad, please tell me how exactly do you see that it was not working for long time, do you just take the battery off and when you turn it in it shows missed calls or what? how exactly do you know that it had not been working?

I know it hasn't been working because I have messages from people who've called (as well as text messages) during the last few hours. This is while the phone has been in an area of good reception. |

i had a similar problem, i had my phone upgraded to i software, then about 2 weeks later it started to act really dodgy on me, when i pressed certain keys the screen crashed and i had to take the battery out to turn it off, so i took it back to the sp (carphone warehouse) and they refreshed the software for me, i've had no problems since, |

Maybe you have a software defect. My first T68 had an undetectable SW defect discovered when I took it to SE for upgrading. They replaced my board with a new 1. Have yours checked by your sp.;-)

Thanks for all the advice. I'll take it to the Carphone Warehouse round the corner and ask them to sort it out! I might try for a T68i as as replacement, as the volume control has fallen off and the vibrating alert sometimes doesn't work. |
