Hi,

Whenever i received email from the server, it will download the entire mail box (read and unread) emails into my phone, this is very costly to me due to the traffic charge, therefore, is there anywhere i can retrieve the NEW and UNREAD emails only?

Thanks!

Only way i know is in the settings change to downloads headers & subject only instead of whole email-that way you select what emails you want to download and not all of them!

Is this Gmail? with Gmail, you can set it to enable POP only for new mail that arrives from the time you set the option. I'm not so sure how to go about doing the same for other mail providers

on hindsight, Gmail appears to be the only free web-based, POP-enabled email provider I know of
